4️⃣ Record a Reel or select an existing video from your phone
5️⃣ At the final screen, where you write your caption, you should see "This Reel is a Trial Reel" at the top

Troubleshooting - if it doesn't work:
If the Trial Reels toggle is still not showing up, or you are experiencing any other issues, try these 4 quick fixes:
1. Use a different mobile device
Try an iPad or another phone with Instagram installed. (One of my clients unlocked the feature this way.)
2. It posts as a normal Reel? That’s fine.
Several people reported it posted as a regular Reel, but the Trial Reel toggle appeared after posting a few times anyway! :)
3. Update your app.
Sometimes the app version is the problem. Updating unlocked it for others instantly.
4. Using Android? Try logging in on iPhone/iPad.
Most of the people experiencing issues were on an Android device. Ask a friend if you can borrow their iPhone or iPad, login to your IG account there and follow the steps above again. Once the Trial Reel feature is unlocked via an Apple device, it’ll stay on your account :)
